I hate belts, so the suspenders would be strictly practical. As I become a Greek tragedy (Adipose Wrecks comes to mind) a reverse taper is forming in the critical pants-holding waist area. The threat of buttcrackitis is becoming more real daily. And I'd sooner look like an old flatus with the 'spenders than risk the heartbreak of Plumber's Butt. Even I have a vestige of dignity. :-)
