I hereby swear.. It was in a Denny's. 3 a.m.ish. I was waiting to make a call overseas to ask for money to get me and my friends home. It'd been a long, rough trip. We had enough left for me to get a cup of coffee and make the call. The waitress kept filling my cup while I kept trying to get through. And there, from above (where else) came a voice.. not that I hadn't talked with her before (definitely a she) but I'd never heard her out loud. I was a little peeved that she did it in public. I could get in trouble if I answered out loud back to her. She had not a lot of good things to say to me, either. I hurumphed and said I'd take it under consideration. Am I crazy? Did it not really happen? Those questions don't concern me. As far as I'm concerned it did, it does, and it works for me. I'm also not concerned with whether or not anyone else believes in her or talks with her. Frankly, she can be quite irritating and demanding. I wouldn't change it for myself, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone either. <g>
