Much more likely to see a perf loss.> Yep, I'm sure Intel wants to shoot itself in the foot by releasing systems with a higher price tag and a performance penalty. Don't you think Intel would have gone with its exit strategy a long time ago if they found that DRDRAM provides no performance advantage? But Camino is only three months away, and Barrett says Intel remains committed to DRDRAM. You can decide to trust Intel, or to assume that the management is smoking pot.
