PT, as i understand it, orders, at least on NYSE stocks, have the following priority: market, then limit orders based first on price and second on time/date entered. so if you have an existing limit order in, that order has the priority based on price and time entered. I gather that you are thinking about entering buy limit orders on usw at 55.5 and 56.25. It is likely that the stock will open much higher today and not trade down to those prices. at least IMO. i hope this answered your question. if more specific, please pm me. larry
