Intervu Selected As the Official Webcaster for MP3 Summit '99; INTERVU
Also Announces Pact to Host and Deliver UBL.com's MP3 Content

PR Newswire - June 14, 1999 06:16

SAN DIEGO, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- In line with the company's business
model to support all media formats, INTERVU Inc. (Nasdaq: ITVU), the
leading service provider for Internet audio and video delivery
solutions, today announced its expanded support for Internet music
company, MP3.com. As one of the sponsors of MP3 Summit '99, INTERVU will
provide all of the Internet audio and video delivery solutions for the
event.

INTERVU also manages and delivers downloadable MP3 files through its
partnership with Artist Direct's flagship music property UBL.COM (The
Ultimate Band List). UBL.COM is a comprehensive music resource on the
Web featuring extensive links to artist content and biographies, MP3
downloads, an online store, and much, much more. With more than 225,000
visitors a day, UBL.COM originally turned to INTERVU for multimedia
Internet delivery solutions because the INTERVU Network infrastructure
is designed to manage large volumes of MP3 and Windows Media files
consistently and reliably.

"The proof is in the pudding," said Steve Rennie, president of UBL.COM.
"INTERVU's successful relationship with UBL.COM has proven to us that
INTERVU has what it takes to support the MP3 file format. Moving
forward, we have no doubt that INTERVU will continue to provide the
highest-quality Internet broadcasting and music download services to our
die-hard music-lover customers."

INTERVU was also selected by MP3.com as the official Webcaster for the
MP3 Summit '99 taking place June 15-16 in San Diego, California. INTERVU
will manage and deliver all keynote speeches and panel discussions live
from the event to the MP3.com Web site. In addition, Clickhear
Productions will produce the live, two-camera Webcast on-site at the
UCSD Price Center. Clickhear Productions (www.clickhear.com) provides a
variety of live Webcast production services for the streaming media
industry.

To highlight live event video coverage, MP3.com is utilizing INTERVU
AUDIENCEO, a software tool that allows users to make advance
reservations to attend any of the MP3 Summit '99 events as well as be
automatically reminded and taken to the events when they begin. INTERVU
AUDIENCE is downloadable from www.mp3.com/summit .

Internet users who tune in to watch INTERVU's Webcast of MP3 Summit '99
will have the opportunity to watch and listen to keynote speeches and
panel discussions given by today's hottest players and biggest
influencers in the digital music industry.

Highlights of the summit include a keynote speech given by digital
pioneer, John Perry Barlow, a former lyricist for the Grateful Dead and
co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, as well as a panel
session titled "Keeping the 17 year old happy: How to monetize the
online music community."

"As a platform-agnostic solutions provider, we continue to strongly
support all major formats including the MP3 file format," said Ed
Huguez, chief operating officer of INTERVU. "MP3.com continues to
provide us with exciting digital music projects that allow us to combine
our streaming media solutions with digital downloads creating a
compelling marketing tool that has the power to attract more Internet
users to our customers' Web sites."

To keep the momentum going after the summit, SpinRecords.com, an online
digital and traditional music distribution company, is hosting an MP3
Summit "After Party" at the Rock Bottom Brewery in San Diego. The event
features a seven-hour live concert given by seven local bands.
SpinRecords.com is tying into the theme of the summit with its
dedication to the independent and underground music scene. The company
is striving to be the number one resource for new and maturing artists
and their fans and has plans to provide all types of services as a
farm-label to the unsigned, undiscovered artists and bands. INTERVU will
Webcast this event to the SpinRecords.com Web site. End users who watch
the Webcast will have the chance to win free downloads of songs in the
MP3 format that will be made available through the INTERVU Network.
