bid.com - the hype surrounding a move to nasdaq created too much backlash more than anything
bottom line: revenue for bid.com is not as strong as its peers
simply switching to nasdaq doesn't change that

bids - too much hype and now the backlash...auctions are a commodity anymore in my view...onsale, egghead.com, ubid, amazon.com, yahoo, ebay...various flavors of auctions
auctions will be everywhere on the web, it is a business service more than a business, and there is now evidence showing that vertical auction sites fetch higher sales per teh exact same items sold listed via a generic auction site
maybe bid.com should consider being an auction <service> in the doubleclick model rather than a auction site |
