I am not privvy to everything which happens at ABTX, but the *impression* I get is that the broom used by Budd in sweeping out ABTX has been a pretty broad broom and has swept pretty clean.

When new management comes into a turnaround situation, it very often places people it knows and has confidence in into the highest and most important places.

One might surmise that the previous consolidation team was not accomplishing things at the rate which Budd thought appropriate.

Again ... no insider knowledge on my part ... just applying past experiences (including several occasions as head of a turnaround team) to "guess" what might have been going on.

P.S. Still long, and for all the same reasons, but ABTX is a significantly different company from what it was 13 months ago.
