Several months ago M. Dell gave a speech at some place in which he deduced the demand for PC, based on world's population, to be somewhere close to 300 mil for the next 2 years. And he said Dell is expected to sell a big chunk of those. (I don't recall the exact numbers but I believe that these are within the ball park.)

I vividly remember you making a case for HUGE PC demand in India based on the population alone. Yes, population is a key variable in determining the demand, but business and profitability arent' whole different animals. It ain't that simple, my friend!
