Getting back to more rational discussion....check out the following article, which at first you may ask 'what does this have to do with PMC?' telecommagazine.com And the answer is....of the five network elements shown in the architecture, PMC supplies chips for 4 of them - in fact the four that would most likely result in the highest volume shipments (the IAD, DSLAM, ATM switch and probably an ATM phy layer set on the receiving voice gateway). Of course, this 'killer app' is still in the works and far from a certainty. But isn't it nice to know that this company's opportunities grow everyday? BD
