New topic - S&P 500 substitutions. Does anyone have any data on various tidbits relating to Standard & Poors' switching components of the S&P 500 such as : How many days before the switch is actually done is the announcement made ? Are announcements made early or late in the day (or random) ? If more than one stock is about to leave (due to known merger completion dates), does S&P tend to announce multiple substitutions in one big announcement ? Jon.
