I spoke with Richard Mockett again this morning. He appears very hesitant to state without uncertainty when the PP will close, although he strongly believes that it will be prior to the end of this week. I tried to determine if there was anything more significant (i.e., one party buying the whole placement) going on and he confirmed that there was not. He noted "there are no material changes to the company". Frankly, I didn't think that there were. If anything, the only changes the company has made since it announced the PP, have made it more financially and operationally sound. There is no reason to believe that once the PP closes that the share price won't begin to climb. The only question is how much and how fast. That will depend on further developments, alliances, etc. The morons on the Stockhouse board who continue to "dis" the company are simply impatient and appear to be in this thing for a quick ride up and exit. Think about what this company has accomplished, the Gartner Group, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Glenayre, the printer business, etc. The Company has a healthy balance sheet (particularly after the PP closes) and improving earnings in an emerging business area, wireless. There is no reason to doubt management, the business or anything else. BE PATIENT ALREADY, wait for the PP to close and things will turn around. Don't expect things to change for the better, until the PP closes. End of Story. |
