Ron,
Talking of ''revenge'', I can tell you that, back in 1945, 1946 and 1947 there has been A LOT OF REVENGE throughout Europe as French résistants were running after Vichy collaborators, or as Italian communists were running after Mussolinist militiamen, or as Flemish partisans were running after Nazi collaborators... The lucky ones who escaped this repression are still living today somewhere in Urugay, Paraguay, Argentina, or South Africa --that's why you've got so many Mullers and Stroessners out there! Those were the years during which it wasn't uncommon to see bald women in the streets --that's how people used to tag women who shopped around with German soldiers during the occupation. Not to speak of the thousands of alleged collaborators who were swiftly sent to their maker (after a ''fair trial'', of course). Now, tell me about Albanian repression! LOL! |
