Surprizingly similar charts on National Media and Heritage Media. Look at this site:

tscn.com

I've retained 25% of my Mar10's just in case. Decided to profit take the rest so I can get some of next month's. Kinda wish I had profit taken last week (Monday morning quarterbacking). Also still have some Aug7.5's that are doing very well.

What would you guys buy next?

Interesting to me how NM put out a lot of news during their run up and high volume times that really wouldn't be considered "good news". If I was them, I wouldn't want to put out things during a strong run that could raise the eyebrows of potential investors - management changes, court cases, no causes for price changes, etc - if I was not involved in some other money making deal that would exceed the return from the run. It just seemed a little odd to me and my broker.

By the way, the Heritage Media annoucement came after no significant increase in volume or price and no 13D.

I'm not convinced that this Heritage deal precludes News Corporation's potential interest in NM especially when one considers that NC is planning on getting rid of the TV and radio facilities that come with it. It appears to me that all they wanted was the programming.

On the other hand, other potential buyers may feel more pressure to go after NM due to today's announced acquisition. Who knows, maybe NM will go after somebody themselves.

Interesting. I wish I knew something more concrete to contribute instead of just thinking out loud.
