RayW-baby - "WinNT servers do not use FPU". Your knowledge of servers is adequate, but barely.
I suggest you brush up on Citrix Systems and their WinFRAME product. It runs on Windows NT SERVER Edition, and allows multiuser sessions to be hosted ON THE SERVER, running NT applications software. NC clients, attached to the SERVER, receive screen updates from the Server, which performs all the applications processing.
Hence, the SERVER not only runs WINDOWS NT which is indeed integer based (as are most operating systems), but it also runs all the NT applications, including any and all that make use of Floating Point Operations. Spreadsheets, databases, and CAD programs, all of which employ FPU operations, perform just fine on the SERVER, requiring no FPU support on the NC client.
