China will dare the US to stop them when they annex Taiwan and the Spratley Islands, but the US is in no position to stop them. The Chinese have been buying high tech military hardware with the blessing of the Clinton Commerce Dept, over the objections of the Pentagon. The Chinese infiltration of the Clinton administration has compromised national security to the point where China will be calling the shots. The question is will the US have the stomach for a shooting war with China, or will the US simply accept that their world economic dominance is over, and will slowly fade into the background. Much of the manufacturing in China is accomplished thru forced prison labor. China is especially tough on religion. Will the US accept doing business with China on these terms, or will we demand that China reforms? And if China tells the US to make her day, what do we do? Back down, or go toe-to-toe? And where did China get the information and the tech to challenge us? From the Clinton Administration. The name of Clinton to future generations will invoke the same reaction as Benedict Arnold. Anyone who voted for him should seriously examine how they could be so easily duped. The Chinese influence permeates the entire Democratic National Committee. The extent of the corruption is breathtaking. Did the Democrats take the money because they were stupid, or they didn't think they would get caught, or perhaps because they simply agree with the Chinese collectivism, and would do anything to expand Chinese influence around the world. It is safe to say that the Democrats are either treasonous or incompetent, or both; either way they acted against the US interest when they allowed such high level infiltration of the govt, and they should be investigated, impeached, recalled, indicted, tried and incarcerated, whatever the individual case may demand. The Peter Cook article seems to indicate that China is trying hard to fall in line, and that this affair of Chinese influence of the Democrats should be overlooked for the greater good of open Chinese markets. This is absurd. Command economies are not converted to free markets by wishing them. China has to first demonstrate that free trade is her goal by freeing the Chinese people from the tyranical yoke around their necks. Free people will engage in free trade. If we first grant China unlimited access to free markets, then we strengthen the hand of the tyrants who run the country. It would be just like doing business with the pre-WWII Nazi government of Germany. You would strengthen the position from which they would wield the sword. |
