Quad-K - I did very-long-term-investing for a long while, but the percentage gain I got from it for the whole 12 years is less than what I got for the last two years. 'course, I got into the wrong stocks during those years (no tech), but didn't really fall in love with the market (for health and sickness) until '97, and didn't learn my lesson until 98.

I recovered now, and start shorting again for the last couple months, but promised to myself to never hold short overnight (at least temporarily). For now, I don't dare to hold long over the weekend either. I have never been good at fundamental trading, so I guess I'll never be a proactive trader. As a daytrader, I just go with the flow. I'm chicken and have neither guts nor patient for long term, and envy those who do.
