True, but much of the damage now is psychological. YHOO at $99. Actually the anayst predicted $65 - $345. Wow, talk about stocking your neck out. $99 is just the average. The point being YHOO (for instance could be worth anywhere from here to there). But $65 is assuming their future looks dismal and their model collapses. Assumes the worst. $345 assumes the best. Point is, ther is no exact value to internet stocks. It's all in the perception. What to do now? Well, there's a lot of money to be made by buying but it feels risky, therefore everyone is staying out. The fear itself is a self-fulfiling prophesy.
