GRIN latest news. PART 1

I've been talking to Ron Goldenberg, CFO at
GRIN. We covered a lot of ground, so I'm
presenting the info in two parts.

* Sales: These have continued to be strong
through this quarter. Furby continues to be
a good seller.

* ecommerce: They have received presentations
from several sources. Although he thinks it
would be expensive to do this properly,
nevertheless, these ideas will be put to the
GRIN Board for due consideration.

* ARK: I asked about the Titanic model which
was in production before the GRIN takeover.
ARK was unable to meet the high demand for this
toy which explains Amazon's lack of availability.
The model is still produced but he feels the
'window' for big sales in this has passed with
the movie. It is the kind of thing they have in
mind for future products and has a BIG profit
margin.

* ToysRUs: experiencing some improvement in the
level of business with TOY.

* Canadian Dollar: He feels this is stronger and
so far, behaving well this year.

Watch-out for part 2, where I cover some news on
Furby, some guidance on earnings and ... a new
license.
