Yes, not a bad day for those who own SLB. The technicals in this sector have me totally confounded. Stocks which should be rallying are not. To me, that's not a good sign. On another subject, FGI looks like dead meat. I hated the merger (from FGI's perspective), and I guess I'm not the only one. The best reason for buying FGI -- Holloway -- is putting himself out to pasture, possibly looking to sell his vast holdings on the way out (just my uninformed guess). In his place will be a guy who seems to have run a very inefficient operation at HLX (if I am wrong on this, please someone correct me). I don't know where FGI will bottom, but I wouldn't want to be around to find out. It's really too bad. This was one of my favorites.
