<<You have no sense of protocol. I specifically dealt with you via PM in order to take this little personal conflict off of this thread.>>
Neither do you, or you would not show the weakness of your point of view via the use of the expletives I deleted, and you would freely state the gold position of those from whom you draw a check
<<Who are you to place this burden upon the public in forcing the CB's to hold physical gold, thus removing it from the commodities marketplace?>> It is not just me, it is history, scarcity, Alan Greenspan and over half the people on earth understand the value of gold
<<They can sell it is they wish. They certainly have held it long enough and there is no ethical or legitimate reason to continue permitting the CBs to subsidize this industry any longer.>>
Only with-in limits placed by those that control their governments - the people. You must not believe in the democratic process. I have never suggested a subsidy. I just don't like it when those who may be short gold are advising (paying off?) those selling. Is this not subsidizing the shorts?
<<So I'm not a gold fan. So I don't see gold as money like you do. That's my right.>>
Or perhaps your wrong.
<<I can't spend gold without either converting it to cash or finding a way to break it up into smaller quantities that match the item I'm purchasing. >>
Have you even tried? I've found several businesses who have a gold balance behind the counter, and would be glad to give change in $.
