Dr. Jeff- You obviously don't follow Dell and are speaking out of the turn... Last December/January, Michael Dell and management did very little to pump the stock...very few pronouncements from Dell (especially in comparison to the April '98-October '98 period). I follow(ed) the stock on a daily basis. You are simply wrong. At the time, (January) many long-time followers of Dell didn't know how to read Dell's management's silence. Its clear now that management did not want to pump the stock, and set unrealistic expectations (the market did that already in January)....In retrospect, a signal for a sell (if one was inclined) It is hard to spin EMC's management continuous upbeat prognostications as anything but bullish, IMO.....
