**GETTING FILLED** GETTING THE SHORT END OF THE STICK ON THE SHORT SIDE***

THREAD:

Can those of you who have used various L2 brokers begin some kind of discussion on there ability to get filled on the short side.
I know that some of the brokerages probably have more stocks to borrow than others and this info. could be of great help to people who like shorting stocks. Maybe some of the "short list" could be posted for the various brokers and this will serve as a valuable resource to those picking a broker or thinking of changing.
Perhaps, some info on what percentages of stocks with volume over 200,000 shares daily that meet your personal shorting criteria are you finding that are indeed even borrowable.
Another topic of interest would be shorting NYSE vs NASDAQ and the types of orders used to execute positions on both. I spent the weekend reading every post on this thread and I think this topic would really compliment the valuable data already posted.

Thanx,
Oswald

PS: Alan, I would like to hear from non L2 people also :-)
