Question for everyone -

I believe that on two occasions, Datek has duplicated my order.

When it happened today, I was selling PCLN, and I ended up short. This definitely proves a flaw in their system, since PCLN is a NS stock, so it shouldn't have let me enter a short sell. (Should have held the short for a while, but I didn't.)

I got two different order numbers, with the exact same time shown for the entry time. The second order shows as a Short Sell. I would post my Daily Activity, but Datek is unresponsive at the moment (although they were quite speedy this morning).

Has anyone else experienced this, or is it possible that mouse-button noise can cause a second press on the send button, before the screen redraws from the first send? It still doesn't account for their allowing a short on PCLN.

A proper design of their system would assign an unique number to the Enter URL, and reject subsequent presses of the same Enter button.
