Hi, Sonny, Too much work, but wife is out tonight, so i'm on the
Presario. Tho' I've been out of the net (lit. and fig.), in tech I've hung my hat on AMAT< UNISYS(UIS)>NXTL>NORTEL(NT-afterBAY BUYOUT)>AND--ddddrumrolll..INTEL (since 1/14/96). Last one has been the worst performer in last 3 mos. and it bothers me.. NOT. It's basing and all the faithful will be very pleased, notwithstanding what some SCUMbags post to the contrary, imo. I still believe this co. will bag a double by XMAS, but if it's later, who cares, this co. will continue to dominate. Rodney will get its propers, Aretha, and Mr. G's unwarranted and unnecessary rate hikes will make this cash-gorilla co. a safe bastion (I'm only up %340 after its 16 point slide since Jan.). Momentum has left AOL<AMZN<CMGI. When they return, who knows, but Intc will, without a doubt, just keep rolling along. Those who left better jump back in before it's too late;
BTW, I was tempted to speculate on Sonki's MRBA,(sell some PECO ENERGY (PE), a fab. and DO, a dog) but want to hear more about CEO Kay, and saw it got slammed today. So if you're reading, Sonki, what's the real deal on Marimba? P.S. I still like UIS for the 50s, even in a down market, but I love INTC, AMAT, and NT next3-6mos., up bet. 90% & > 300% on these suckers and am holding. (Hope I am not the sucker, don't think so.)

P.S. If fed raises rates, it will not be one-time imo, it will HURT more than the nonchalant talking heads and others suggest, and it is unnecessary based on fundamentals. PRICES, Alan, PRICES are what you must look at. Now as AUSTIN says: BEHAVE! (Shag II was enjoyable, if a bit idiotic and gross). |
