Nice to see some good come out of this price-slashing. However, I do not wish Microdyne luck in their new efforts:

"Last year, Intel and 3Com, which dominate the adapter card market, reduced prices by 35 percent and more. That left higher-priced Microdyne products languishing on distributors' shelves....At the same time, the company intends to increase its efforts to sell networking products to the federal government, Sanders said."

Gee, so if our products are too expensive for private enterprise to buy, maybe we can get Uncle Sam to pony up the $$$. Let's hope the feds don't sucker for it.
