That's right, Cringe.

But in 6 months, expect Intel to LOWER the voltage as they make process improvements.

Intel's 0.18 micron 400 MHz Pentium II, at 9.8 watts MAXIMUM is 40% BELOW th epower dissipation of AMD's Kmart 63 (0.25 micron) running at only 380 MHz.


But AMD's Kmart 63 power isn't an issue - since hardly anybody uses them !
