Patience, Scrapps. I would guess that there is a line of ISP's a mile-long at USR's front door, and the big boys are going to get served first. With flash-upgrading taking less than one day, (actually much less), we should see the remaining ISP's getting "loaded for bear" with "double-aught buck" within the next 2 weeks. Think how far all those "strip-out-and-replace-hardware" Ascend ISP's are going to actually be behind. Someone from Dataquest was quoted yesterday in the WSJ, "I don't think an ISP is going to jump ship from ROK just because their chips are 2 weeks late". Maybe not, but in 2-3 or more months, how many customers are ROK-based ISP's going to loose? Ross Perot may have been on to something when he talked a few years back about the "giant sucking sound". In this case it's web-surfers flocking to USR-based ISP's. DK
