I wouldn't call it a shakeout, per say, this is a legitimate sell off. However, a fact to note for everyone; AOL has not broken its 200 day Moving Average for as long as I could see. In fact, even during the Asian Contagion, AOL maintained its 200 day MA.

We are about $10 from that level right now.

The heavy volume selling gives hints of panic selling and stops being triggered.

A bottom will be reached with a test of the 200 day MA (short term, at least).
