Motorola( Motorola Inc ) to sell Time Warner 250,000 modems

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., March 18 (Reuter) - Motorola Inc said late Monday it had reached an agreement in principle
for Time Warner Inc to buy 250,000 Motorola cable modems on top of its existing contract for 50,000 units.

Motorola's Multimedia Group said the high volume order has enabled the company to break the $300 per unit cable modem
price barrier and offer the lowest price on the market for the high speed Internet access technology.

The deal is valued at roughly $75 million.
