Scumbria, Re: Maybe the best manufacturer should team up with the best designers, and Intel should manufacture K7 for AMD ;^) I believe Intel has its reasons for not going the K7(or Alpha) route. Somehow, I have the feeling that K7 is in the same league as Alpha, speed at all cost. But that may not be what Intel want. Remembered that Intel deliberately leave out the Alpha IP in its DEC deal ? Gary
