implied volatility almost 45
thanks for the information. I guess the build up to the release of earnings is causing it.
The most interesting options plays, IMHO, are going to be the June calls---strike price of 80. Right now they are about 0.50 but if the stock stays at the same price tomorrow considering the market is waiting for the inflation number on Wednesday, they should get even cheaper. Late day tomorrow (no later than 2 PM as I expect a rally late in the day) might be a great opportunity to buy. With end of the week (expiration), the pay offs could be huge if one has the nerve to try them. Given the recent selloff in the markets and how MSFT has held up, this may be a great opportunity for those that want to take a small gamble with potential big payoffs. However, it is still a gamble. This time I will probably try it (with a little cash) if the stock stays under control tomorrow--hoping for 500% to 1000% return over a couple of days.

Warning to all---high risk.
