Derek, you are much too "in tune with nature" for your own good. I thought that the Northwest was just for tree- huggers, granola eaters, and skinhead splinter groups. The Virginia piedmont is beautiful, of course, but the real reason for moving back to the East is Megalopolis, the emerging mega- metro area between Washington and New York, and only Northern Virginia is really in on the action. So okay, come back for the Blue Ridge too, but commute to D.C.....<g>
