Poor Petz - The TEXT of that ISSCC article stated EXACTLY what I posted - that the the PLL ran at 1.6 volts DROPPED DOWN form a 2.5 volt supply.

On the opposite page OF THE SAME ARTICLE , the 1.6 volt appeared in the SPEC table - courtesy of ACE/McMaster University and Super Sleuth Steve Porter !

Maybe you should learn how to INVESTIGATE THINGS better.

By the way - I just heard some terrifying news about AMD's current quarter financials.
