Neocon, that posting was truely brilliant and short. your analysis was so fine it could be called final. or a classic at least. But still for the future I urge you not to use the word "natural" in politics (as you did in a bloc would have naturally centered around Germany) because in my view this will sooner or later lead to gross generalizations and wrong decisions based on them. In my view in politics it will all depend on "how it turns out after some time". The course of history is determined IMO by decisions. The tragic feature is that decisions always have to be made with only limited knowledge of their consequences. In so far history goes on just the way our individual lives do. A clarity of concepts can help to communicate politics, to find compromises or common views in a group, but those concepts will in the end not be able to determine the future. Regards, MNI PS the current discussion of different zones in the US is nearly as much delight as the neo/paleo one. Sorry I can't follow it so easily like the other one. One day I will come over and have a look.
