Company Press Release

Concurrent Computer Corporation
Announces CATV Order for
Video-On-Demand Hardware and
Software to Support a Live Customer Trial/Deployment

System Deployment of Video-On-Demand Services to Cable Subscribers

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 1999-- Concurrent Computer
Corporation announced today that a top 10 U.S. Cable TV Operator has selected its MediaHawk(TM)
Video Server and BackOffice Software Suite for a system trial/deployment. This system trial provides
a test of an end-to-end integrated system featuring Concurrent's MediaHawk Video Server and
BackOffice Software, Scientific-Atlanta's broadband digital head-end system, and the
Scientific-Atlanta Explorer® 2000 digital set-top box. Deployment is planned after trial completion.

Concurrent offered a complete end-to-end software solution for customers, including billing, content
management, royalty payments, etc. PRASARA Technologies of Orlando, Florida, one of Concurrent's
partners, provided design and support services for many of these software solutions. These technical
features were fundamental requirements for making the customer's application work.

Furthermore, the customer's existing network required Concurrent to develop a customized solution.
Concurrent's engineering personnel worked with the customer's technical personnel to develop a
unique configuration of Concurrent's video servers to provide a solution that would work with the
existing system network. The ability of Concurrent to offer customized engineering support was
instrumental in making this project come to fruition.

E. Courtney Siegel, Chief Executive Officer, Concurrent Computer Corporation, commented, ''This
sale has tremendous significance to our company and the CATV industry. It confirms our belief that
the Concurrent Video Server offers a superior technology and is available to meet the CATV
industry's desire to deploy this VOD technology to assist its digital system deployment.''
