You're correct about that prohibtionSome states do not allow mail order or online sales of wine. I think there are 13 states which do not reciprocal wine sales. Virtual Vineyards and a number of other online wine e-com companies are getting around this prohibition by setting up a local affiliate program, similar to the FTD florist system where the local wine shop gets a fee for processing the sale, packaging it and delivering the wine. The e-com co takes care of the order processing and the billing. Frank C.
