Sung Q. Kim, don't engage this guy Daniel Fisher, he is obviously an uninformed idiot! Let's look at some of the facts. The issue is not the access points, so stop speculating about them and trying to evaluate them. PSINet didn't built one of the top internet providers with big CORPORATE accounts overnight. It took advertising, infrastructure, deals, internet expertise, etc. Building a business takes time and effort; there is much value built into PSINet's business. It is meaningless that they haven't made money; not an issue. The WSJ, the Washington Post, etc. all support not the question but the inevitability that it will be mergered or aquired. The head of the company swallowed a poison pill to force getting top dollar. Last week the Washington Post ran an article that says that 1 billion is the price sought and that is why the broker entered into this. The deal is imminent and PSINet is in a non-disclosure agreement with Bell Atlantic so you will hear NOTHING until the deal is announced. STOP SPECULATING WITH NO POSSIBILITY OF NEWS!!! Anyone that believes in this company MUST stop talking and commit to walking away from the stock and stop looking at the meaningless day to day fluctuations. 1 billion on the sale will bring a price of $54.00 according to the Washington Post. Ignore these negative jerks and sit tight and you will most likely be rewarded hugely for the patience. OK! Why do you think the head of the company keeps building the deals when there is no hope of making money except through a merger or acquisition; he is making sure he gets the 1 billion.
