Ross Systems Announces New GEMBASE Agreements
ATLANTA, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS), a leading supplier of Enterprise Systems, announced today a number of agreements for its GEMBASE(TM) rapid application development system. Electric Lightwave, Inc. expanded its agreement for GEMBASE. Electric Lightwave is the leading integrated communications provider of enhanced data services, frame relay, ATM and Internet access solutions to bandwidth intensive businesses and the growing e-commerce market. The company offers long distance, data and prepaid services nationwide. As a full-service provider, the company offers local, long distance, videoconferencing and high-speed broadband transport via an expanding fiber optic network that interconnects major markets in the West. Ross also received a number of new and expanded agreements for GEMBASE through its telecommunications distribution partner, Kingston-SCL. These agreements included Eircell in Ireland, France Telecom Mobiles, Globtel in Slovakia, Globalstar in South Africa and Ben in The Netherlands.
In addition, the Lower Valley Power & Light Company in Afton, Wyoming expanded its agreement for Ross GEMBASE.
