scott..re: fed, greenspan, professional opinionators and other fortune tellers

amazing isn't that japan has revised figures today(statiscal fluke, as they all are) that show there economy worse off than what was indicated last week. i posted last week the reality of the jpns economy based on input from my osaka liason office which deals on a daily basis with the major jpns heavy industries. why take the word of the man on the street, let's pay more attention to the postings from lee, who quotes the fed and cnbc experts on asia...no reason to live in reality..it's just a game...

as far as asia "heating" up and consuming energy, remember two of the "tigers", malaysia and indonesia are on balance exporters of energy..they produce more then they consume...the professional opinionators again touting oil service/drillers as a hedge...didn't they do this in 10/97...for what it's worth, this is my business...no light at the end of the tunnel, especially in asia....so all this to say markets are moved by the numbers that economists give to other economists, who try to predict the future without a firm grasp on the reality of the present....didn't use to be that way...guess the mba's got to justify their education...
