C'mon now Steve. In a tech-trend dual, I'd pit you against Greenspan any day of the week ... But when it comes to macroeconomic theory and monetary policy, you are seriously outgunned. When all this hoopla passes, and the Internet is seen for what it really is, a new communications tool and effective distribution method, all this new-era Internet economy b.s. will fade away (along with its gurus).

I often find that people immersed in the Internet culture suffer the problem of "not being able to see the forest from the trees." Although circumstances change, human nature does not. The self-fulfilling relative valuation scale and lack of sound financial analysis that has built this giant house of cards seems to be wearing thin on investors. IMO, the highs are behind us and it is all (well.. mostly) down-hill from here.

So enjoy it while it lasts.
