I was able to resolve my problem by clearing the memory cache -- which you have apparently tried. Clint had posted the following as a possible solution, on dppl's thread. You may want to consider his suggestion if your problem continues.

Hello Tom. I think I may have an answer that could help your disk problem.

Quit NSCP and go to file manager and delete all the files under your

nscp/cache

directory.

Give that a try and that should fix your hard drive probelm. It is also not a bad idea to run Norton disk doctor and speeddisk on your drive on regular basis(once every three months).
