In 1996 a total of $6.2 billion U.S. was spent on IT systems in general, of which $600 million U.S. was spent on CRM software. By 2000 Forrester predicts a total of $16 billion U.S. will be spent on IT systems , of which $3.2 billion U.S. will be spent on CRM software.
