China To Buy Gold For Reserves

Posted on Gold Eagle Forum by Ho_Yen_Tsi Jun 15 @ 09:36

China's central bank may consider increasing its reserves, a Chinese analyst said on Tuesday.

''When some central banks in Western countries and international financial institutions begin selling or intend to sell gold on the international market, China's central bank, lured by the current low gold prices, may consider buying some from the market to increase the share of gold in its international reserves,'' Ouyang Wei, editor of China Money published by China's Xinhua News Agency, said.
