meathead...a point to ponder... dell has been innovative in applying the japanese business model to the assembly and manufacture of pc's...it has gone one step further with the streamlining of sales and marketing. this is why i have been a shareholder since 96 in dell. my concern is where is the innovation in product design....the pattern of not being first to enter a market is typical of the jpns model, but unlike the jpns model there appears to be a lack of product innovation...as in hwp and the laser jet, and emc with the hard drive storage concept this is the future vision that i ask from dell, i'm satisfied with the way the company excels to the bottom line, and if all it will be is the best pc ever, i have no problem... just trying to maintain perspective before some on the thread have "mikey" launching an assault on poland...
