ynot,

I tend to look at a bottom in a stock when volume surges on a down day and the stock closes off of it's low. DCLK traded over 8mln shares yesterday, it's second highest volume day over the past year. (My data is missing a couple days).

Same for a top. Volume surges, usually on a day when the stock has a large gap opening, and closes down or unchanged for the day. If the stock closes down the next day, then the top has been reached.

imo, tomorrow will be more important for the inet leaders than today. One other thing that has made it harder to judge the group is the bad news that has come out (EBAY outages, CMGI earnings, AMZN debt, etc..)

Something I've found interesting is how all this news comes out around the same time.
