Manhattan Minerals Corp MAN
Shares issued 24,264,523 Jun 11 close $4.30
Mon 14 Jun 99 In the News
The National Post reports in its Saturday, June 12, edition that Manhattan
Minerals executed a three-year exploration contract with the Peruvian
government for a copper-zinc-silver deposit in the northern Andean
foothills. The National Post's Briefing column reports that Manhattan has
three years to carry out a feasibility study on the 10,000-hectare Tambo
Grande property before deciding whether to exercise an option to develop a
mine. This would require an investment of about $200-million, says
Centromin, Peru's state mining company.
