I agree that News Corp. is not disinterested simply because they bought Heritage. News has been on the warpath the past year or two, buying companies with abandon. The reason that there was no accumulation or 13D with Heritage is that they agreed to a merger.

It's possible that whoever is buying NM stock has not discussed anything with the board. Or they may have been turned down a few months ago, and they have since accumulated a large position.

The way I see it, HSNI and News Corp. are the two main players in infomercials, aside from NM. Either would profit greatly from buying NM at $15-20/share.

I don't see NM buying any company now, unless it were with cash only, since the stock is so depressed.
