FIRST AMERICAN SCIENTIFIC CORP, (FASC, NASD Bulletin Board) is pleased to announce that they, along with their partner in Ireland, were a Radiant Stage 11 Award Winner (1998) and received a grant from the Government in Londonderry Ireland February 12, 1999. Radiant is an acronym for research and development between Ireland and North America. While the program is designed to promote joint-ventures between companies in both countries it is awarded to R&D projects that are deemed to be unique and worthwhile with world-wide applications. The Company's program to develop a cooling system for its Kinetic Disintegrator to process crumb rubber into a microfine powder met all the government's criteria. This work is being carried out in Ireland, by our partner, in conjunction with Ulster and Queens Universities. Initial studies have been completed and line-testing of a cooling system will start in the next ten days. ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS Jack Lovelock, Chairman of the Board FASC:(NASD Bulletin Board)
