Each investor has their own sell discipline.

#1 My share basis was around $15 on the shares I sold yesterday so your comments about buying at levels between $40-$90 are complete nonsense.

#2 When the shares spiked to over $100 pre split, I sold my full position, then brought back 1/2 my shares around $79 1/2 the next day or the day after. The effect? It lowered my average share cost. All in my IRA. Just because one is long term does not mean one becomes an automatron.

#3 It's all about what valuation the market places on a company. The QWST story has the potential to change in a major way. I have to reevaluate the changing situation. Given the deals go through or QWST has to ante up more money then the factors that allowed the price to run from $15 to over $40, Friday of last week have changed. The LCI deal was a good thing, I considered it a smart move even though many of the "Wall Street" analysts were less than excited at the time. This deal is different, it can cause something akin to PE deflation to take place. I will watch closely, once the dust clears I may reenter but for now better returns should be available in LVLT, EMC, select inets and the semi-sector where money was reallocated.

#4 While management probably didn't expect this great a sell off, it puts the recent large stock blocks sold by QWST upper management in a whole new light.

Therefore, as I look back over your comments:
"If I had bought the stock at $90, or $70 or $50 or even $40, but I didn't. So I hold..hold..hold..and look to buy on the burst.

Question, why in heck would anyone buy this stock at $90 or $70 or anywhere in between, unless you were to hold..hold..hold...??? Answer, speculation!"

I once again ask, who and to what are you talking too? it sure isn't me. Maybe if you were involved in the thread for more than 24 hours you would know of what you speak.
