Actually I met the founder of Wit at a conference. He used to be the Vice Chairman of Salamon Brothers and wanted to find a new way to attract capital and offer IPOs to the marketplace. He has attracted Jonathan Cohen to be the Wit Research Director. That says a lot IMO. Jonathan Cohen is one of the most highly respected and objective internet analysts. I believe that he used to direct Merrill Lynch's efforts in that area. He does very thorough assessments of companies and does not hype stocks. Look at his perspective of AMZN many months ago -- he was right (unlike Mr. Blodgett). Now look at today's NETP report from Wit. It has a 12-month price target for NETP of $30-40. That may be conservative but it is backed up by a well written and comprehensive report. These analyst reports can help all types of investors understand a company and their marketplace.
